A much-anticipated release for September 2016, designed to shine in mixed drinks and cocktails. This includes fifteen individually distilled botanicals (both native and imported) such as pears from Orange in greater western NSW, rose petals, elderflower and distilled honey from the distillery's rooftop beehives. Says Archie Rose manager Harriet Leigh, "We upped the botanicals in the gin so they'd be more pronounced and pack a punch in G&T or Negroni. But I've also enjoyed it in a Last Word, a Southside and a Tom Collins. I believe in thorough research." Tasting note: Clear. Intensely aromatic with a medley of white pepper, citrus peel, piney-juniper and background cardamom / coriander. Skillfully balanced, with a creamy, gently peppery attack and flavours of lemon meringue, pine needle, coriander and a vibrant, oily, spicy finish. Medium long. A juniper/ citrus forward style that's nicely integrated. 52.4% Alc./Vol.

A gin that epitomises the sparkling glamour of Australia's most beautiful coastal city. Full of celebration and ambition, Sydney is effervescent. With this in mind, juniper and a series of spices have been employed to build up a solid base spirit, which was then infused with native lemon myrtle, orange rind and lime peel to give it a zesty 'Sydney zing'. Where possible, botanicals are locally sourced. Gold Medal at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition

A limited release seasonal Gin, inspired by the Marrickville team’s favourite cocktail. This is a juniper-forward Gin (not a Gin liqueur), with tropical botanicals including coconut, pineapple, pandan leaf, lime, nutmeg and allspice. On the nose, there’s a nice kick of juniper with an underlying tone of caramelized pineapple and vanilla. Toasted coconut and hints of sea-spray and citrus add freshness. When sipped, the oily consistency coats the palate with silky coconut flavours contrasted by lime peel bitterness and fresh grassy notes. For serving, this sits well in a Martini or a Southside, but it’s just made for fruit juice - or take the distillery’s advice and make their version of a Piña Colada, with fresh-squeezed pineapple, a splash of coconut cream, a touch of sugar, squeeze of lime and bitters, served simply on the rocks. 5000 bottles produced. 42% Alc./Vol.
- ABV 42%
The brainchild of Griffin Blumer and Jesse Kennedy, a duo who began making gin at home before investing their savings in a 200 litre German copper still (named Jane). Based in Marrickville, Sydney, Blumer and Kennedy were subsequently joined by one of Australia’s most experienced gin distillers, Marcel Thompson, who commenced his career with United Distillers New Zealand in 1987, as well as playing apprentice to some well respected names in gin making. Poor Tom's is handcrafted in small batches from Australian wheat spirit and features fresh green apple, native strawberry gum-leaf and chamomile in the botanical mix. Tasting note: Clear. Drier styled with a complex bouquet that includes lemon verbena, liquorice root, hints of chamomile and pepper with later passes adding potpourri and turmeric-like scents over understated juniper and applemint. Clean, crisp delivery; mid palate features piney juniper, dried citrus peel and hints of applemint; excellent length. Finishes pleasantly peppery, refreshing and elegant with delicate bitter lemon peel, peppermint and juniper in the aftertaste. Outstanding. 41.3% Alc./Vol.

Horisumi Summer is the fourth and final gin in a collaborative series with Japanese tattoo artist, Kian Forreal (Horisumi).
- ABV 44%
Summed up by Archie Rose as an aromatic, playful gin and one of the most refreshing in the series thanks to botanicals such as white peach and Australian-grown yuzu peel and mandarin. The label has been hand-illustrated by Horisumi himself: A vibrant peony represents wealth, good fortune and bravery in Japan, while the snake, or “hebi”, is a creature that when seen in white is embraced as a good omen. Extremely limited stocks. Tasting note: Clear. Very expressive with up-front citrus peel and orange zest aromas over distant juniper. Later inhalations suggest peach tart and tropical fruits. A vivacious, medium to full bodied delivery with flavours of citrus blossom, citrus peel, ginger-like warmth and a lively, tingling lemon meringue and piney-juniper aftertaste. Effervescent, citrus-forward gin with plenty of Summer appeal. Try it with tonic and a slice of fresh mango. 44% Alc./Vol.
