New and Very Limited Indies

We have small volumes from a range of quality-focussed independents on offer, some rarely seen in Australia:Asta Morris is a Belgian bottler that opened for business in 2009, founded by whisky writer and former Malt Maniac, Bert Bruyneel. By way of introducing Bert, his selections below are at the best prices in Australia. Douglas Laing’s ever reliable  ‘Old Particular’ range needs no introduction, however, some bottlings excel, as demonstrated by the knockout single cask Caol Ila. Lesser known in Australia, Ian Macleod are one of the more respected Scottish family firms, with four generations of expertise, distilling, blending and bottling to their name. They have a new series of cask strength malts under their 'As We Get It’ label which have received strong reviews from the likes of whiskyfun.com. Always very limited and sought after by whisky geeks, Kingsbury’s bottlings come with an enviable record, and a commitment to sourcing malts primarily for the Japanese market by owner Katsuhiko Tanaka, with assistance from Springbank's Gordon Wright. You’ll find more detailed background information about these independents in some of the product entries.
