Botanic Australis Original Gin (700ml)Queensland, AUSTRALIA$89. 99Bottle$1079.88 DozenABV: 40%Mt. Uncle Distillery has built a reputation for Award winning premium liqueurs and spirits. It is North Queensland’s first and only distillery and is the premier attraction on the Cairns Highlands (Atherton Tablelands). The only range of real 100% spirits and liqueurs produced on site, over 50+ teas to try and buy, Liqueur Chocolates, Café, local artwork and the list goes on. What more could you want in one place! The distillery is nestled on the fertile foothills of Mt. Uncle from where it claims its name from. The mountain was named after the Uncle of the founding pioneer John Atherton, very original! Yes there is also a Mt. Aunty beside him as well so the big guy doesn’t get lonely. Set in landscaped gardens on a Banana, Avocado and Macadamia plantation Mt. Uncle Distillery is as a pleasant visit upon your eyes as it is your taste buds. Apart from the juniper, this gin employs a full repertoire of native Australian botanicals (14 in total). The Lemon Scented gum (citriodora) makes a particularly strong contribution. Smelling this evoked memories of planting an avenue of saplings. The species has soft furry leaves prior to maturity. Rubbing the leaves between your fingers releases the oils along with a delightfully fresh lemon/eucalyptus aroma. Other notable ingredients include native Wattle Seed, Lilly Pilly, Lemon Myrtle, native ginger and Finger Limes. Tasting note: Crystal clear. Wow! Captivates from the get go with its individualistic bouquet - an alluring combination of lime juice, crushed citriodora leaf and subtle liquoricey notes - juniper takes back seat. A light entry builds to a concentrated, beautifully balanced and wonderfully fresh citriodora leaf and lime peel mid palate with hints of juniper and anise, finishing pleasantly peppery with excellent persistence. A highly idiosyncratic and genuinely Australian rendition that succeeds on all levels but is best left alone. 40% Alc./Vol. Other reviews... You know I am passionate about Aussie gins (I’ve even created a lovely event for you to try some) so when I came across Botanic Australis gin at Top Shelf Boutique Drinks Festival today (expect a round-up later) I couldn’t wait to write about it! It was definitely my ‘Gin of the day’. Where to start? It’s craft-distilled in North Queensland at the Mt. Uncle Distillery (there is a Mt. Aunty too!), contains no fewer than 14 native botanicals, (including three types of myrtle, finger limes and lilly pilly), and is both distinctive and delicious. The gentleman serving me described it as “very herbaceous”. And so it is. A hint of juniper, a mouthful of warmth and then the botanicals play a fandango (look it up) in your mouth. Herb, grass, mint and citrus flavours, all at once. I also detected ginger and pepper after notes too. It was love at first taste and I swiftly purchased a bottle. I am now saving for my airfare to Queensland where I will kiss the still that produced it. - theginqueen.com/ -

Brockmans Gin (700ml)UNITED KINGDOMReduced from $79.99$49. 99Bottle$599.88 DozenABV: 40%"...something truly stunning, albeit not for everyone." - ginobsessions.com
Read random reviews from around the web and you'll quickly work out that Brockman's is one of those disruptive, divisive contemporary gins, far from traditional London Dry. Positive comments are in the majority, but there's another group who don't quite get it. Beyond the obvious allure of the sleek black, textured bottle, the gin inside is produced using a high-quality grain spirit and infused with ten botanicals (Juniper, Coriander, Blackberries, Blueberries, Orris Root, Cassia Bark, Liquorice, Orange & Lemon, Angelica root and Almonds). Arguably, the berries make the strongest contribution. As one taster explains, "The mids are where the notes that make Brockman’s stand out come to life. Raspberry lemon cake, a distinct sweetness, bright and robust. It begins to take on a more dry tone with blackberry and coriander, ripe berry. And then where it all ends up, its remarkably dry...The Gin and Tonic was exquisite, with notes that reminded me strongly of a blackberry bramble." It's also said to be a heavenly match with Ginger Beer!
Other reviews... something truly stunning, albeit not for everyone. I personally love Brockmans Gin, but I am generally (not always) drawn to gins which are less London Dry and have more sweet, floral tones. On the nose there are strong berry tones with a hint of lemon. To taste, there is initial heat followed by warming berries and finishing with a delicious flavour which reminds me of lemon meringue pie…mmmmm. I find this gin incredibly drinkable neat, which is unsurprising as according to the website, “The aim was to create a gin so smooth and sensual, you would want to drink it neat over ice.” It also makes a mean gin and tonic, thirst quenchingly refreshing and dangerously moreish! - ginobsessions.com
...If you’ve already made up your mind about contemporary style gins, this is one I suggest at least trying. The dry finish sets it apart and it may win you back over. For those who already enjoy the contemporary style, this is one that I think stands head and shoulders above the vast majority. It’s bright, fresh, and fruity, without being too over-the-top. I’d recommend this wholeheartedly to anyone who’s looking for an upgrade from their Hendrick’s, or looking for a Nolet’s that’s more cocktail friendly. There’s a lot to like here, and all but the most hardcore juniper-only gin drinkers will find something worthy of their time here. I highly recommend Brockman’s Gin. 4.7 / 5 points - theginisin.com
"Very interesting flavors with very soft finish. Taste of very mellow floral accents. Could drink over ice for sure. Could see this mixed with Fresca soda on a sweltering day and oh my." - distiller.com
Our notes from 2020... Atypical gin aromas of ribena cordial and raspberry jube with little to zero juniper. Berry flavoured until the finish where light coriander seed and pine enter, balancing the sweetness. Like a flavoured vodka. Try it with ginger ale. 40% Alc./Vol.
- Brogan's Way Hearts Afire Gin (700ml)Victoria, AUSTRALIA$79. 99Bottle$959.88 DozenABV: 42%
A modern dry gin boasting a complex balance of nutmeg, cloves and aniseed myrtle blended with sweet orange peel, lilli-pilli and cassia.
Notes from the producers... A warming spice driven gin with a unique balance of savoury Australian native botanicals and aromatic winter spices. Sweet orange peel, native strawberry gum and macerated lilli-pilli offers a gentle yet full bodied sweet backbone, which is warmed by the fragrant spicy notes of aniseed myrtle, cloves, nutmeg and cassia. Hot green cardamom and black peppercorn are carried through in the long nutty and coffee-like finish provided by the soft oils of native roasted wattle seed. A balanced savoury spice gin with a long warm finish. Great in a spicy negroni or red snapper and even better in a strong G&T – garnish with a twist of orange. 42% Alc./Vol.

Brogan's Way Everyday Salvation Gin (700ml)Victoria, AUSTRALIA$79. 99Bottle$959.88 DozenABV: 42%A classic dry style with strawberry gum, cinnamon myrtle and native pepper berries lending an Australian edge. Gin queen, Catherine Childerley ranked it in her top ten Australian gins for 2018. Tasting note: Similar to the Evening Light aromatically, only more expressive; hints of strawberry gum and curry leaf through the juniper. Very pure, silky delivery with attractive juniper, citrus peel and budding spices through the finish. Nice length and freshness. 42% Alc./Vol. Other reviews... For me, it was a dead heat between Royal Blood and Every Day Salvation, as my favourite, but in the end I picked the Every Day Salvation. Brogan's Way Evening Light Gin (700ml)Victoria, AUSTRALIA$79. 99Bottle$959.88 DozenABV: 42%Simon and Brogan Carr join a small but growing number of inner city suburban distillers servicing Melbourne's Richmond neighborhood. From their bar / distillery set up in an old mechanics workshop, they've created three signature gins: A juniper-forward dry style dubbed Everyday Salvation, a slightly more contemporary style called Evening Light, and a navy strength edition called 'Royal Blood'. Brogan Carr is qualified as a medical laboratory scientist, and says she didn‘t expect to become a distiller. ”I love the precision of science and investigative nature, but working in labs wasn’t enough”. She retrained as a distiller, finishing a Master of Science Brewing & Distilling at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Brogan’s three gins are designed to appeal to different gin drinkers. Evening Light is a fresh and fruity style, made with mangos and raspberries and organic white grapefruit juice alongside more traditional botanicals. Brogan says it's her 'easy drinker'. Tasting note: Creamy scents of cardamom, orris root and chamomile(?) with hints of lemon peel over background juniper and pepper. Light to medium bodied with a soft entry and attractive flavours of grapefruit, delicate juniper and white pepper. Breezy, fresh and warming. Ends satisfyingly crisp, minerally and dry. 42% Alc./Vol. -

Tasting note: The racehorse in the collection, with more depth and power all round. The spice-shop bouquet evokes curry leaf, cardamom, white pepper and hints of liquorice root through the juniper. Creamy and concentrated attack is also nicely balanced; a melting pot of citrus and cardamom followed by vibrant peppers, a touch of liquorice root and lemon thyme to finish. Brookies Byron Gin (700ml)New South Wales, AUSTRALIA$82. 99Bottle$995.88 DozenABV: 46%Co-founder, Eddie Brook struck up a friendship with legendary Scotch Whisky distiller, Jim McEwan of Bruichladdich fame during one of Jim's tours around Australia. At the time, Eddie was Australian distributor for Bruichladdich's whiskies and Gin (The Botanist). McEwan was coaxed out of retirement and joined Eddie and his family to launch Brookie’s gin in Northern New South Wales. Named "Cape Byron Distillery", the operation runs a 2000 liter Tassie-made copper pot still. Brookies employs 26 botanicals, 18 of which are native to Australia: Sunrise finger limes from Byron Bay, kumquat, blood lime, aniseed myrtle, cinnamon myrtle, White Aspen, riberry, the young leaves of the lilly pilly leaf, macadamia nut, native raspberries from Brook Farm, Dorrigo pepper leaf, river mint and native ginger. Traditional botanicals include juniper, coriander, cassia, angelica and orris root.
Tasting note: Crystal clear. Pure, rounded aromas of citrus peel and lemon thyme followed by woody juniper, pepper, coriander and minty freshness. Five minutes adds hints of raspberry. Creamy textured with a concentrated yet keenly balanced profile; lively with piney juniper upfront, followed by dried herbs and pepper. Hints of macadamia late in the aftertaste? The lingering spiciness and the overall length is quite something. Nicely done. 46% Alc./Vol.
Other reviews... An incredibly ambitious gin in its wide use of Australian botanicals -17 to be exact! While one might think such an endeavour might create a ferocious mix of flavours, all clamouring for attention, Brookie's Byron Dry is unified with an overall calm note. Botanicals are well integrated, used intentionally, and work together to create a polished product. There's a subtlety to this gin that presents a little coy and soft; in the glass, it takes a little while to express itself. Once it does, this gin presents with some beautiful ripe fruits, raspberry & riberry. The drier, woody herbaceous botanicals kick in after that, and the mix of flavours helps to create balance and structure for the Australian botanicals to shine through. Juniper is not lost in the mix; the resinous pine follows into the finish and rounds out the overall experience. 93 points - Jess Clayfield, James Halliday's Australian Wine Companion 2025

Brookies Byron Slow Gin (700ml)New South Wales, AUSTRALIA$74. 99Bottle$899.88 DozenABV: 26%A welcome (albeit limited) addition to the Brookies range, is this "Slow" gin, in the style of English sloe. The point of difference here is that Davidson Plums are used instead of sloe berries. Considered a bush delicacy, the plum is indigenous to the Byron region and is packed with vitamins and minerals. The plums are steeped in Brookie’s Gin for several months. The maceration is diluted to 26% ABV with Mount Warning spring water.
Tasting note: Brilliant copper. Attractive, medium dry aromas suggesting quince paste, plum jam and raisins over muted juniper and white pepper. A juicy-yet-dry, pleasantly tart, plum and red berry flavoured gin with trace pepper in the finish. Delicious Summer sipping, but would be even better at a higher ABV. Keep it simple with soda or just ice. 26% Alc./Vol.
Other reviews... While 'slow' gin is not an official gin category, this lovely gin cordial pays homage to the much-loved 'sloe' gin style. In a nod to the style's distinctive plum flavours, Brookie's Slow utilises Davidson Plums to recreate the style. The plums themselves, native to the Byron and the surrounding area, are fruits naturally low in residual sugars, making them tarter than a typical plum. The months-long steeping process, coupled with the lower sugar content, means that while the gin develops the concentrated fruit flavour, it doesn't overwhelm the gin itself. Rhubarb and an earthy hibiscus are encapsulated in this gin. There is also a subtle note of strawberry, minty eucalyptuses, and the underlying dry gin base. 88 points - Jess Clayfield, James Hallidays Australian Wine Companion 2025

Bulldog Gin (700ml)London, UNITED KINGDOM$74. 99Bottle$899.88 DozenABV: 40%A relative newcomer to the premium Gin scene. Bulldog is a London dry Gin produced using old-time methods where neutral grain spirit is quadruple distilled utilising copper pot stills. The raw spirit is then steeped in an array of botanicals including: dragon eye, poppy, lotus leaves, lemon, almond, cassia, lavender, orris, liquorice, juniper, angelica, and coriander.
Tasting note: Clear. Lovely fresh citrus peel aromas combine with caraway, talc and juniper notes. The palate is quite concentrated, medium dry and gently warming with spice, citrus, caraway and pine flavours leading into a tingly, spicy back palate. Exceptionally persistent, drying aftertaste with a subtle mineral / anise fade. 40% Alc/.Vol.
Other Reviews: The nosing passes find classic London Dry aromas of juniper with assertive, prickly spirit and citrus. The palate entry is creamy, juniper-heavy and curiously chalky; the taste profile at mid palate is herbal, piney and citrusy. I like this gin a lot but wonder: Would it be even better at 47% abv?

Cadenhead's Old Raj Dry Gin (700ml)$115. 00Bottle$1380.00 DozenABV: 55%Closure: Screw Cap"What's so impressive about this breathtaking gin is that from start to finish, the 110 proof acts only as a sublime foundation for the botanicals rather than as a star performer; as delicious and comely as I could ever imagine British gin".- F.Paul Pacault - 5 Stars, The Highest Recommendation.
Cadenhead's Old Raj Dry Gin is one of the most intensely flavoured Gins available on the market today. Gin lovers note, while Old Raj is bottled at 55%, and carries some heat, it is in harmony with the extra flavour that Raj offers. No doubt it will be too much for some.
Tasting note: Distinctive, yet very pale straw coloured tinge. Heavy, penetrating aromas exude out of the glass offering an exotic amalgam of coriander seed, saffron, white pepper, tumeric and clove with some citrus zest notes adding freshness. A rich, clean, oily mouth feel delivers an enormous attack of saffron, coriander seed, aniseed and lemon tart carried by a spicy power wave, with the flavour profile reverberating into an exceptionally long, off-dry aftertaste of indian spices and lemon tart. This extraordinary offering guarantees a stunning Gin experience. 55% Alc./Vol.
Other reviews... This is the lower-proof version of the classic Old Raj. Lovely, complex gin bouquet offers aromas of coriander, juniper, anise, orris root, ground pepper, lemon peel, lead pencil, earth and tree bark. Palate entry is creamy, fruity, spicy and minty; midpalate offers layers of botanical complexity over the core juniper taste. Finishes with a wonderful rush of mint and baking spice. Fabulous. 'Darling Gin' is their classic London Dry, distilled with locally sourced botanicals like rosemary, oranges, green tea, lemongrass and pepperberry. Aromatically, it's bright and citrus-driven hinting at lime zest and grapefruit, with coriander, white pepper, juniper and dried herbs in tow. Those notes lead into medium-intense flavours of Meyer lemon and honey yoghurt, ending in a linear, peel-fresh, piney finish with lingering spices. This elegant, drier-styled gin is also surprisingly powerful at 42%.

Darling Distillery Coffee Gin (500ml)Melbourne, Victoria, AUSTRALIA$64. 99Bottle$779.88 DozenABV: 38%This Melbourne specialty involves a week-long maceration of cacao nibs, hazelnuts and wattleseeds in the distillery's Darling Gin, blended with cold-drip coffee from Abbotsford’s Coffee Supreme and the natural sweetness of dates. Not sweet enough to be a liqueur, and with none of the traditional botanical notes associated with gin, the focus is on rich espresso coffee and intensely fruity dark chocolate flavours. Beneath that - and where the gin does become apparent - is the finish, adding a citrus and pepper lift that works to relieve the mid-palate sweetness. It's a bit of a stretch to call it gin, but it is better than many coffee liqueurs. Serve neat on ice with a thin slice of orange or shaken martini style. 38% Alc./Vol.

It's a fragrant shot of alpine freshness, with deep, lingering zingy coriander and earthy liquorice latching expertly onto the musky, piney juniper, and topped off by the zing of the mountain pepper. Our tasting from a small sample found a ripe, juniper-forward bouquet, menthol-fresh with aromas of crushed eucalyptus, pine needle, pepper and sea spray following through to a concentrated, medium dry burst of fresh juniper, black pepper, liquorice root and a coriander accented finish. The aftertaste is pleasingly spicy, balanced and long. A versatile gin to be enjoyed on its own or in classic cocktails. 43.5% Alc./Vol.

Dingle Gin (700ml)IRELAND$93. 99Bottle$1127.88 DozenABV: 42.5%There are so many awards shows these days but the WGA is one that really matters. Dingle Gin was awarded World’s Best Gin and World’s Best London Dry at the 2019 World Gin Awards.
The explosion of the Irish gin market in recent years has seen the launch of more than fifty brands in Ireland and twenty gin producers, with 12 new brands introduced in 2018. Dingle is leading the pack! Made using a grain spirit base and thirteen locally grown botanicals including rowan berry, juniper, fuschia, bog myrtle, heather, chervil, hawthorn and coriander. These are macerated in the spirit for 24 hours prior to distillation, then boiled with the vapour passing up the still through the 'flavour' basket. On the nose, there's nuances of lavender, pine and citrus blossom, as well as coriander seed and pepper. The style is full flavoured, textural and super fresh with creamy, mouthfilling flavours of orris root, lemon sorbet, ripe juniper, chamomile and peppery / piney / herbaceous notes through the finish. It's a London Dry boasting both power and complexity. 42.5% Alc./Vol.

Drumshanbo Sardinian Citrus Gunpowder Irish Gin (700ml)IRELANDReduced from $84.99$74. 99Bottle$899.88 DozenABV: 43%Besides switching lemon with Citrus monstruosa - a pulpy, bitter fruit native to Sardinia - the botanical bill here remains similar to Drumshanbo's 'Original'. Woody juniper and citrus peel vie for attention on the nose while background liquorice root enters late. The palate feels more intense than its modest ABV: Sedate on entry, but big on grapefruit tang and white pepper, especially through the finish; late oils and piney juniper carry the aftertaste. Bright and spicy, this will suit vibrant G&Ts and add zest to Summery cocktails. 43% Alc./Vol.

Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin (700ml)IRELANDReduced from $84.99$74. 99Bottle$899.88 DozenABV: 43%Not only in Australia, but overseas as well, the gin market is experiencing steady growth with consumption in Europe alone forecast to increase dramatically. New players are emerging from all quarters. This novel release is made in the "Shed Distillery", Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim which is the first distillery in the West of Ireland in over 101 years. Opened in 2016 by the team of PJ Rigney and his wife Denise (inventors of Sheridan’s Irish Cream and Boru Vodka), the venture is already busy creating a range of spirits, including whiskey and gin. Rigney adds, “The international market is now looking for super-premium brands that stand apart, with unique heritage and unrivalled quality & taste. There’s huge international excitement about this new gin and we already have some pre-orders from China.”
Handcrafted through slow distillation in a gleaming medieval copper pot still fired by steam, Rigney expands on the production process for his gin: "Various oriental fresh citrus and leaves (gunpowder tea) are added into the 3 layer infusion basket, which lies in the vapour pathway between the still and the condenser. Steam is gently applied. The vapour rises through the unique shape of the medieval head, which allows maximum copper contact, which cleans and purifies the spirit. The vapour exits the still and passes into the infusion basket, where it gently extracts the oils and aromas from the citrus and tea. Boiling in the still would extract bitter compounds from these ingredients, whereas vapour infusion only extracts the aromatic oils. The vapour passes into the condenser and is condensed down into our gin at approx. 75%. We take an early cut so as to avoid any harshness that tends to come off further into the distillation. The gin is allowed to rest for a week, which allows the oils and alcohol to infuse and for flavour to develop. It is then diluted to 43% with filtered water and gently filtered for clarity."
The keynote here is 'Gunpowder Tea' (Camellia sinensishis) - a green tea that's been slowly dried then carefully rolled into shiny pellets. The flavour is bold and bright with a slight spicy freshness. Other botanicals include juniper, angelica, orris, caraway, coriander, meadowsweet, cardamom and star anise as well as vapour infused oriental lemon, lime and fresh grapefruit. Nosing finds intense aromas of blackpepper, lemon peel and juniper in the opening pass with later inhalations detecting hints of orris root, cinnamon and chamomile tea. The palate follows through with robust flavours of liquorice root, cardamom, background juniper and a warming, vibrant, peppery finish with late juniper and liquorice through the aftertaste. This flavourful, spicy style has enough presence on its own but will easily hold up to mixing. 43% Alc./Vol.
Notes from the producer: "Delightfully fresh and rounded up front with citrus, juniper & spicy notes immediately evident. The expected Juniper follows close behind. Gunpowder Tea, meadowsweet & Coriander are all notable. The overall impression is of a very well balanced and surprising gin."
- Dunnet Bay Distillers Rock Rose Navy Strength Gin (700ml)SCOTLAND$130. 00Bottle$1560.00 DozenABV: 57%
Other reviews... Dunnet Bay Distillers’ Rock Rose Gin is the latest entry into the increasingly crowded Scottish gin market — where more than 170 different gins are currently in production. The brand dates back to 2014, the result of 55 experiments to find the right botanical blend. The final recipe is an exotic mix that includes juniper, rose root, sea buckthorn, rowan berries (aka mountain ash), blueberries, cardamon, coriander seed, and verbena. As near as I can tell, there’s no difference between this and the Original Edition, save the abv. At 57% alcohol, it’s no joke, and my complaints about the weak body are wholly inapplicable here. Rock Rose Navy Strength is sharp both on the nose and the tongue, which gives the fruitier character more room to shine. The juniper and other herbal notes are pushed more toward the back end, so while the attack lets the citrus shine, the finish of the Navy Strength feels more verdant than the Original Edition. Over time, things get quite bitter as it lingers on the back of the palate. Naturally, it’s also much stronger with the punch of alcohol, which presents its own challenge (or promise). 57% Alc./Vol. - drinkhacker.com

- Dutch Rules New World Dry Gin (700ml)Melbourne, Victoria, AUSTRALIA$74. 99Bottle$899.88 DozenABV: 42%
The juniper-infused spirit known as gin has the Netherlands as its spiritual home. Later, England went on to popularise its own 'London Dry', traditionally based on less than a handful of botanicals (juniper, cardamom and coriander). However, the influence of Sri Lanka, Malaysia and other spice islands isn't commonly found, even in contemporary styles. Enter Dutch Gin, founded in 2022 in the Melbourne suburb of Mitcham. Here, botanicals like lemongrass, makrut leaves, chilli, thai basil and ginger are broadening the scope of what gins can taste like. Proprietor, Danny Perera employs a wheat-based spirit which brings a nice smooth mouthfeel to each expression. Step one is to load the still with distillate, then add juniper and dried botanicals to the pot. Once out of the still, the spirits are rested for a couple of weeks to maximise the flavour before diluting to a lower ABV followed by bottling and labelling. Shaken or stirred, Dutch Rules New World Dry gin offers juniper-forward flavours with a citrusy finish for a new everyday favourite. Great in a cocktail or simply with tonic. Other botanicals include pink peppercorn, coriander seed, jasmine, macadamia, green tea, cinnamon and lavender. 42% Alc./Vol.

- Dutch Rules Thai Gin (700ml)Melbourne, Victoria, AUSTRALIA$74. 99Bottle$899.88 DozenABV: 40%
Hospitality veteran, Danny Perera founded Dutch Rules Gin in 2022. Hailing from Sri Lanka, he wanted to share the influence trade routes from the Dutch East Indies and Spice Islands had on traditional European exports. This Mitcham-based distillery knows its way around a classic juniper-forward number as well as anyone. But it’s the magic that happens when they borrow flavours from South and South-East Asia that's won them a keen following; their Thai Gin, for example - a fragrant gin that is highly aromatic and alive with cardamom, coriander, lemongrass, ginger and makrut lime leaves. Add Thai basil, and just a little bit of spice, and you have one hell of a delicious gin! Perfect in a Lemongrass Collins – a refreshing dance between flavours that's all about Summer. 40% Alc./Vol.

Crafted using a traditional all-in method of distillation and arriving at a proper and well-integrated 43%, the recipe employed here takes the clean, juniper-forward profile inspired by a classic London Drys combined with Ester’s own unique twist - a punch of savoury citrus flavour and the judicious accent of locally grown botanicals. Aromatically, a proud hit of juniper, coriander and liquorice root spike the spirit with dry spice and herbaceous intensity. Then unctuous, macadamia-enhanced texture floats across the tongue, animated by earthy citrus notes of native finger lime and lemon myrtle. Sweet mandarin lifts the finish while adding a twist of elegance. The result? An unfiltered, exceptionally classy and well-balanced Gin for classicists and modernists alike, and a natural for any traditional gin cocktails. Also recommended with a fresh bay leaf and a dry tonic. 43% Alc./Vol.

We're serious about gin.
Distilleries both small and large from every continent on earth can now lay claim to a Gin. You could be cynical and suggest it's merely to maintain cash flow while more 'serious' barrel aged spirits mature. Gin is easy and cheap. After all, it's just flavoured vodka at the end of the day, right? That line of thinking misrepresents all this spirit can be in the hands of visionaries and fanatics. The freshest botanicals in high quality alcohol result in an exotic amalgam of accents and supporting notes that no white spirit can match. Perfumed complexity and bracing intensity are not the characteristics of every gin we taste - hence, it can't be that easy to achieve. From Navy Strength to organic to sloe gin, browse our range today. A long departure from the once "fuddy-duddy" association of the genre, Vickers, Gordon's and other ubiquitous brands are threatened to be swallowed in a giant yawn by the progressive, quality-savvy new-gin devotee. Trending classifications such as 'New Western' style (juniper evident but not dominant) are gaining prominence as are the use of indigenous botanicals and varied spirit bases, including non-grain. Barrel ageing is also gaining momentum. The vast improvement in quality has resulted in texture rich, neat/sipping friendly spirits. Yet, the traditional English and Dutch styles remain more relevant than ever in honouring the cocktail classics. Learn more today...
