2020 Charles Audoin

Within the space of a few short years Domaine Charles Audoin has become one of our most eagerly awaited arrivals. And in an era where pricing for decent Burgundy has become increasingly out of reach, these wines are just the panacea we've all been searching for. Passionate and energetic fifth-generation vigneron, Cyril Audoin, has so far resisted the temptation and kept his prices rises modest, this despite the rave reviews his wines receive. And speaking of reviews, this collection of 2020 wines has received some of the most enthusiastic praise we've seen for Burgundy. Stuart Piggott (JamesSuckling.com) has again drawn parallels between these wines and top Grand Cru Burgundy, both red and white, and given the depth and concentration on offer it's hard to argue.
