2007 Single Malts of Scotland Linkwood 13 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Despite being a somewhat obscure distillery that mainly produces for blends, we're always happy to try a Linkwood when it comes along, even if they can be a bit predictable. Of course, it's the all-natural expressions where the real excitement can be found, especially when you get that classic Linkwoodian fruitiness, weight and texture coming through. The Single Malts of Scotland matured this one in a hogshead yielding 282 bottles at 54.1% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
