A 13 year old Caol Ila from independent bottlers, Gordon & MacPhail. Distilled in August 2001 and set aside to mature until April 2015, only 3200 bottles were produced. An extra twist comes with the 18 months finishing in x-red wine casks, in this case, Hermitage barrels from the Northern Rhone in France. The bottlers suggest this has imparted "...cherry, strawberry & red currant notes." 45% Alc./Vol.
