Wild Turkey Heritage Single Barrel 101 Proof Bourbon Whiskey (750ml)

The 101 Heritage was bottled as a limited release in 2005 and utilized barrels aged roughly 8-10 years old, leaning into the expressions that enthusiasts often prefer. This release is said to capture the "old school" Wild Turkey flavour profile, which many enthusiasts often refer to as dusties, due to the bourbon being produced using older methods. Very few bottles ever made it to the retail market because this limited run was mainly sold in travel retail.

"Dusties" refers to liquid being produced back in the day, representing a "lost" era of production. Enthusiasts are obsessed with them because of the low entry proof, which means less water is added to the whisky before aging and again prior to bottling. This results in higher concentration of barrel extracted flavours, with an oilier mouthfeel that modern whiskies struggle to replicate.
