Only 661 bottles in the entire release and already sold out at the distillery, this decadent maritime whisky is the result of an ongoing & unique collaboration between two true Tassie craftsmen - Head Distiller Rob and Waub's Harbour Cooper, Laurie, enabled by an on-site Cooperage. Rob worked closely with Laurie to shave, toast & char a beautiful, old French Oak Tokay cask to provide the perfect maturation conditions for the whisky Rob set out to make. The result? Another sensational malt with notes of poached pear, short crust pie with fig, baked walnut, salted caramel and a delicious coastal tang. A brilliantly handled maturation. 59.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
