Originally only available via ballot, we have one bottle only of what is one of the oldest Larks to date. Legacy HHF582B is one of two bottlings the distillery released with an extraordinary heritage, crafted during Bill Lark’s tenure as Head Distiller at a renowned, neighbouring Tasmanian distillery. Filled into casks HH581 and HH582 in January of 2001, soaking up complexity and history under the careful watch of Bill, the spirit spent the first 15 years of its life relatively undisturbed in original French Oak casks. In 2016, they caught the eye of Lark’s Head Distiller, Chris Thomson who realised their potential to become something even more incredible. He started the whisky on a finishing journey that has resulted in “a marriage made in heaven." 260 bottles were released in March 2021 at a natural strength of 63.4% Alc./Vol.

Notes from the producers... Soft, buttery caramel, dark chocolate, coffee, nougat, and nutmeg. An elegant and nuanced evening stroll down memory lane.
