Sullivans Cove Single Cask TD0254A French Oak Second Fill Single Malt Australian Whisky (700ml)

Unlike the core range French Oak Single Cask, which is aged in ex-tawny casks (Australian port-style fortified wine), this single cask whisky is aged in French oak casks previously used to mature an earlier batch of Sullivans Cove French Oak. According to the producers, "Second Fill whiskies require a truly exceptional cask, showcasing the rich spice from the French oak timber and allowing Sullivans Cove's unique spirit character to shine through." Filled in 2008 and bottled in 2020, the outturn from this barrel was 425 bottles. We have one bottle only from a private collection. 47.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
