Sullivans Cove Single Cask TD0017 French Oak Second Fill Single Malt Australian Whisky (700ml)

Unlike the core range French Oak Single Cask, which is aged in ex-tawny casks (Australian port-style fortified wine), this single cask whisky is aged in French oak casks previously used to mature an earlier batch of Sullivans Cove French Oak. According to the producers, "Second Fill whiskies require a truly exceptional cask, showcasing the rich spice from the French oak timber and allowing Sullivans Cove's unique spirit character to shine through." 

A well-aged Sullivan's Cove, filled into a cask in Feb 2005 and bottled in Nov 2020. 428 bottles produced.
