Bottled exclusively for Whisky and Alement bar in Melbourne. The release also boasts a cask strength bottling, a rare occurrence for SC's DC range.

After Julian White (one of the owners of the renowned whisky bar, Whisky and Alement) spent over 5 hours exhausting his palate on dram after dram of unlabelled Sullivans Cove, he came to a weary conclusion the next morning, having said 'that'll do' the night before. What he came up with was an expression that spoke volumes of how complex and interesting a multi cask whisky can be, stating that single cask whiskies aren't the only offering of unique and interesting characteristics.

I’m very much a sucker for single cask whiskies and the variability and fun they bring. But are they often a complete package? Are they always technically poised? Rarely. This on the other hand is. I’ve tasted quite a few Australian whiskies – not a huge number, but quite a few – and this is one of the very best I’ve come across. It nails the brief and is simply great whisky.
