A special edition Strathisla aged for 25 years. This was given to staff to celebrate the restoration and re-opening of the distillery in May 1995. 600 bottles released. We have one only to sell. Some minor creasing to the outer carton.
The oldest working distillery in the highlands (est 1786), the world-famous Strathisla is the foundation of the Chivas Regal blends. In order to secure supply of this exceptional malt whisky, Chivas Brothers purchased the operation in 1950.
Presently, the distillery employs unpeated barley and matures mainly in refill American oak hogsheads, some first fill. 43% Alc./Vol.
