Tasting note: Launched in the latter half of 2016, 'Fumare' (Latin for 'smoky') is the distillery's first peated release. This starts relatively dry and ashy on the nose building with hints of baked citrus, lanolin and maritime peat. Medium bodied, creamy and sweetly sooty with citrus and apple tart mingling at the finish. Smokey yet elegant - it's the lightness of the malt that makes this distinctive. 46% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
