Shinshu Mars Distillery Komagatake IPA Cask Finish Limited Edition Single Malt Japanese Whisky (700ml)

Bottled in 2020, Shinshu Mars have released a limited edition finished in a super-hoppy ex-IPA (India Pale Ale) beer cask from neighbouring producer, Minami Shinshu Brewery, also located on the Shinshu Distillery grounds. It's a 3.5 year old whisky, lightly peated at 3.5ppm. Mars says to expect citrus fruits on the nose with hints of vanilla, followed by a sweet and malty palate with a slightly bitter, beery finish. 52% Alc./Vol.
