The Elusive series offers the best of the best of the Nant stock held by Remnant Whisky Co. Batch 2 is the latest release and appropriately, the label features a highly recognised but seldom seen Aussie icon, the Platypus. Given the situation over at Nant, records are hard to find but we do have it on good authority that this is possibly the oldest whisky to ever be bottled from this Tasmanian distillery - at the very least 10 years old. Matured in a 100L x Australian Tawny Port single cask - a special Aussie drop limited to a very few. 47.1% Alc./Vol.

Notes from the bottlers... Aromas of toffee, maraschino cherries and raisins. A velvety palate highlighting the Australian fortified flavours of dried fruits, cinnamon and clove and sweet zesty freshness that comes with an older whisky of this calibre. A super-long finish of caramels, stone fruits and spices. Very easy to drink.
