Orphan Barrel Blood Oath Pact No.3 Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey (750ml)

The third of the series started in 2015, Orphan Barrel's 'Blood Oath' has shown what some modern blending theory can achieve for Bourbon Whiskey. Much like other expressions in the series, Pact 3 uses three whiskeys in the blend but that is where the similarities end. Napa Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from Swanson Vineyard have been used for finishing and most strikingly there has been no wheated Bourbon used. Instead, all three Bourbons in the blend used rye as their secondary grain, of which there are two 7 year olds and one 12 year old. Packaged in a classy, gothic printed, coffin-style timber box and topped with a custom eco-friendly natural cork, sealed and labelled with certificate-style paper stock signed by John Rempe. Bottled at 49.3 Alc/.Vol.
