These Old Kempton releases are now a rolling series with the whisky matured in various cask types, subject to change without notice. Each is from a single cask and bottled non chill filtered.

Batch RDO041 #187 tasted... [20ml sample] Matured in a Muscat cask. Old gold. The wine has softened and sweetened the malt, adding hints of ripe plum and cherry ripe chocolate. Well rounded and deliciously simple; gliding over the tongue with the lightest prickle, this finishes with whispers of vanilla, berry confectionary and Turkish Delight. Not long but already well integrated. 46% Alc./Vol. 89 points

Quad cask #48 tasted... [20ml sample] Matured in a Pinot Noir cask. Brass gold. Softly scented with ripe plummy fruit on the nose, wine-soaked pears and trace clove followed by vanilla and a touch of marshmallow. The palate hints at dried fruits and bubblegum, followed by suggestions of raspberry jube through the finish. Ends mildly tannic, with warming alcohol carrying the aftertaste. 46% Alc.Vol. Non chill filtered. 91 points
