Tasting note: Bright brassy gold. Thick legs. A dry, peppery sniff; glace cherry, charry oak and vanilla plus hints of peppermint chocolate. The lean, spiced-up profile suggests an injection of rye. Lots of new oak here too. Quite cocoa driven but with a sharp spiciness enlivening the whole. Minty and firm to finish followed by delicious milk chocolate and vanilla notes late in the aftertaste. Try it if you like a good rye. 51.3% Alc./Vol. Non chill-filtered. 154 bottles.
