Lagavulin Offerman Edition Charred Oak Cask 11 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

The third iteration of Parks and Rec fame, Nick Offerman's endorsed Lagavulin bottling, otherwise known as the Offerman Edition, was released in 2022. Basically an STR cask (Shaved, Toasted, Re-Charred) without the 'T', Lagavulin have used American White Oak and some European Oak, which previously held whisky or wine for these specific barrels. Serge from Whiskyfun found it to be a little less trad than expected, with some syrupy-sweet character he found a little cloying. Might suit an Islay lover with a bit of a sweet tooth. 46% Alc./Vol.
