Kilchoman Anticipation Cask Strength 2 Year Old New Spirit (700ml)

Kilchoman, established in 2005, is a farm distillery and the first distillery to be built on Islay for 124 years.

This ''new spirit" bottling, distilled in 2006, was labelled as 'Anticipation' and matured in barrel for just over two years, thus making it illegal to be classed as whisky. Taken from a Bourbon barrel and bottled on the 27th April 2009. Long off the market, this has obvious collector appeal as well as value as a curio. The quality of spirit even at this early stage of Kilchoman's venture was exceptional.
