Karuizawa Heaven Blended Japanese Whisky (660ml) - Ocean Whisky
Note: Product has come from a private collection and as such has some minor scuffing/scratches/handling marks. Actual product pictured.
An interesting piece of Japanese whisky history. Produced when Karuizawa was owned by parent company Ocean Whisky, Heaven is described on the label as a "pleasant" whisky, showing what the public were demanding of distilleries back in the day. Launched as a competitor to premium Scottish Blends, the bottle is said to include the legendary Karuizawa malt, though the proportions are undisclosed. "Pleasant" may only begin to describe how this whisky will taste. It is difficult to nail down which decade this bottling came from, as the design remained relatively unchanged through the 70s and 80s. Either way, a very rare find and a must for any Japanese whisky diehard. 40% Alc./Vol.
