Essentially an Old No.7 made to the US government's Bottled-in-Bond standard, introduced in 1897 to combat distilleries using additives and to make sure what was on the label was accurate. What does that say about any JD that doesn't say 'Bonded'...? Reviews comparing it to the standard release describe this bottling as having a more oak-driven character, with an overall lift from the extra alcohol. 50% Alc./Vol.
