Independent bottler, 'Heartwood', continues its run of limited editions with "The Beagle" (Batch 2) a special vatting from seven Larks casks that included x Port, Sherry and Bourbon barrels, plus a peated component. Proprietor, Tim Duckett has matured the whiskies in 200 and 300-litre barrels using his 'special management techniques'. Now sold out at Heartwood, this edition was bottled in August 2014 and is one of only 160 bottles released. 68.3% Alc./Vol.
