Heartwood Shot in the Dark Cask Strength Single Malt Australian Whisky (500ml)

For mere mortals, he's also branched out into more accessible, lower ABV bottlings under the Tasmanian Independent Bottlers label. The awards continue to roll in for both.

Heartwood's 'Shot In The Dark' is the first muscat cask filled with 100% peated new make from Larks.

Proprietor, Tim Duckett comments, "It was a bit of a risk as it was (I believe) the first muscat cask filled in Australia (may be wrong)." Filled in November 2013 then drawn from cask LD961 in March 2019 with an outturn of just 334 bottles - as ever, extremely limited stocks.
