Tasting note: [15ml sample] American oak matured. Deep topaz. Prickly. Settles with aromas of tea biscuits, mint chocolate and later, grain store. Intense and tongue nipping - the malt arriving in a bitttersweet rush. More expansive towards the finish. Boiled lollies? Short bread? The sugars linger. Feels a little overwhelmed by oak. Approachable uncut but better with water. 61.2% Alc./Vol. 250 bottles. Non chill filtered.
