This is the eighth Elements bottling sourced from Caol Ila composed of five x-bourbon barrels filled in the mid 2000s.
Flavourwise, the distillery is renowned for its medium bodied, fruity- coastal style, however, by Islay standards it's only moderately peated. Notes from the bottler... The texture is creamy and full with flavours of baked lemon and rock salt. The distillery’s flinty edge is on show and balances nicely with the flavour of delicate custard. Juicy and long to finish, with lemon oil and cloves coming through. 55.2% Alc./Vol.
