Deanston 40 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

The oldest Deanston we've seen has been an 18 year old. Now there's a new 40-year-old to give fans a taste of a much more advanced spirit. It’s spent 30 years maturing in refill casks before spending a decade in oloroso Sherry butts, and with fewer than 500 bottles available worldwide, it will be a whisky for the lucky few.

Deanston have spared no expense on this very handsomely packaged line, including textured metal labels, a leather-lined box and a Deanston coin recessed into the cork. Apparently it was used as the currency of the village in Deanston’s previous incarnation as a cotton mill. Bottled at 45.6% abv without chill filtration.
