Cadenheads like to reference traditional naming conventions on their labels. 'Minmore' is the old farm site to which George Smith moved his famous distillery in 1858. Prior to this, Minmore was known as the first distillery to take out a license (1825), much to the annoyance of local illicit distillers. Distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2014 after 25 years in a bourbon hogshead. Notes from the bottler say to expect "...red fruits, raspberry jam, a touch of white pepper, aniseed and caramel." 252 bottles produced. 54.5% Alc./Vol.
