Bladnoch 17 Year Old Californian Red Wine Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

After a long maturation in ex Bourbon barrels this was finished in ex Californian red wine casks resulting in a whisky with layers of fruit richness. 46.7% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Notes from Bladnoch... Nose: Malty, dried dark fruits of raisins, sultanas and figs, milk chocolate, espresso and ripe cherries. Palate: Toffee sweetness, orange marmalade, dark chocolate and cherries, cinnamon and dark fruits. Finish: Buttery shortbread, liquorice and spiced oak.
