After falling interest from the local market in the 70s, James Buchanan geared the Black & White label towards export. As the laws around the packaging of alcohol were still in development during the 70s and 80s, the majority of bottlers didn't bother providing an ABV. Their blend is generally fruit forward and gentle, with mild spice character.
