Benriach 15 Year Old Sauternes Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

This 15 year old Sauternes Finish is the latest addition to the BenRiach 'Wood Finish Series', matured in the traditional style in American bourbon barrels then ‘finished’ in Sauternes casks, (sweet white wine from the Bordeaux region of France). During this second period of maturation the whisky interacts with the oak and derives a number of additional interesting flavours and aromas. Non chill filtered and natural colour. Quite limited production at around 4000 bottles.

Expect flavours of "...Golden plums and nectarines balanced by contrasting waves of toasted oak and grape seed, followed by a delicate backnote of ground almonds and butterscotch."
