Tun 1401 is the marrying vat nurtured by Balvenie's team of coopers where David Stewart pairs some of the best casks at Warehouse 24 to showcase his mastery.

9 American Oak casks and 3 European Oak Sherry casks were used to create Batch 8, a limited release of 2,700 bottles. This has been scheduled for release in the UK, Canada and Australia only. (Only one in three batches will reach these destinations through official distribution). Everything else goes to the US or travel retail. Guaranteed to fly off of the shelves - just like the previous batch!
