2020 Shinshu Mars Distillery Asagi Madara 8 Year Old Limited Release Blended Japanese Whisky (700ml)

In September 2020, the Mars Shinshu Distillery was rebuilt and expanded, 35 years after its original establishment. This release marks the completion of the project with a label depicting the "Chestnut tiger" butterfly that visits the distillery in Miyada Village in Minami Shinshu around September every year. The work is by painter, Tomoko Nakanoma. Expect a soft, floral and fruity whisky with an elegant mouthfeel and hints of white pepper. 48% Alc./Vol.
