2019 Delas Les Launes Crozes-Hermitage

Pitch black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced black cherry and liquorice aromas infused with graphite and pepper are trailed by subtle smoked meat and dried herb notes. Mid weighted flavours of dark to black cherries and red liquorice are supported by a graphite like spine with notions of dried meats, black olive, scorched earth and pepper also chiming in. Lively acidity is complimented by slightly chalky tannins and a pepper infused aftertaste that has a taut muscular feel.
