From the reserves of Signatory Vintage, this youthful Bennie has been aged in second-fill sherry casks - which very much suits the distillery style, although it's just as affable when left in Bourbon. This must be close to one of the youngest Ben Nevis ever bottled. We tasted a four year old a few years back and it showed precocious balance as well as buckets of distillery character. Our bet is this will be one of the best fivers you'll ever try (also probably as close as you're likely to get to the naked distillate, short of cask strength and visiting the distillery).
