Prüm's 2016 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Auslese (AP 18 17) is still a bit yeasty at this early stage (March 2018), but it is showing clear and ripe bright fruit. Lush and round on the palate, this is an intense but light and very quaffable Auslese with 7% alcohol.

Lithe, with lots of jasmine and saffron notes behind the fresh-cut apple, lemon oil and pear flavors. Very bright and vibrant, showing a good amount of zesty acidity, which connects the mineral, floral and fruit elements and brings this to a lovely equilibrium on the finish. Drink now through 2036.
