Still very youthful and unready, but packed with flavour. Beautiful fruit and silky acidity. This is a raw diamond. Drink from 2018 to 2050.

Fresh apple, quince preserves and vanilla cream mingle on the nose and the creamy, buoyant palate. Honeysuckle and heliotrope lend seductive inner-mouth perfume. This finishes with a lovely sense of lift and with just enough primary juiciness to remain animating. (It was bottled ahead of the 2017 harvest but not until after my late July 2017 visit.)
