2013 Signatory Vintage The Un-Chillfiltered Collection Bunnahabhain Staoisha 7 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

There are just a few 'peaters' in Signatory's 2021 collection, and this one is the most curious. 'Staoisha' refers to Bunnah' distilled using heavy peated barley - the kind normally reserved for the likes of Lagavulin, Ardbeg and Laphroaig. This one was matured in decharred then recharred ex Bourbon Hogsheads. Reports have it that the peat is right up there, complimented by a lovely salty finish. Not super complex but super tasty! 46% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
