2013 Shinshu Mars Distillery Komagatake Double Cellars 5 Year Old Single Malt Japanese Whisky (700ml)

This "Double Cellars" release was initially matured in their Shinshu aging cellar in an x Bourbon barrel after which is was sent off to the company’s Tsunuki maturation halls for further aging. Bottled 2018.

Other reviews... A very solid young whisky. I could envisage a few friends polishing off a bottle in a session. I’d call it user friendly. 46% ABV seems spot on for this one.
