2013 Domaine Piron-Lamelose Chenas Quartz

Semi translucent dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Fragrant aromas of ripe dark cherries intermixed with dried herbs are followed by some scorched earth like characters and spices. Light in body weight the palate has flavours of dark cherries infused with dried herbs over some earth and spice. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, dried herbs and spicy earth.
Cellar 2-3 years.
