2012 Andre Delorme Givry 1er Cru

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Fragrant aromas of ripe red cherries subtle violets and hints of sour cherries overlay dusty cedar, earth and spice. Light, elegant and supple in the mouth the palate has some what rustic flavours of red and sour cherries followed by some dried meats, earth and spicy cedar. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Quite savoury on the finish. Medium to long aftertaste or red and sour cherries, dried meats, earthy cedar and spice. A light, very elegant Burgundy that’s thoroughly enjoyable.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
