We must confess to being huge fans of Ben Nevis, which can be frustrating, as supply tends to be precarious. Followers of this distillery will know that owners Nikka have been taking much of the single malt supply for their 'Japanese' blends. In fact, the distillery actually ran out of the ten year old at the end of 2017 - hence our surprise to discover barrels are surfacing from independents.
