2011 Les Sorcieres du Clos des Fees

A blend of 50% Syrah, 30% Grenache and 20% Carignan. Opaque black dark purple colour with dark purple red hue. Aromas of black cherries and liquorice are intertwined with some earthy qualities followed by some meatiness and spice. The palate has a relatively elegant feel about it but also possesses good richness with flavours of black cherries and liquorice followed by some meatiness and spice. Solid but finely structured tannins provide some grip and support. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, meaty earth like characters and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years (2018-2019).
