Notes from Claxton's... This dram immediately looks attractive and invites you in. On the nose it offers fresh grapefruit and black tea which develops into mint, honey, soft spices and dark summer fruits such as blackberries and raspberries from the cask influence. The finish is long and lingering with sweet cereal notes and cinder toffee. This is an exceptionally interesting dram matured in some very interesting wood. Quite a unique offering and does not fail to deliver in terms of expectations at a good price point. 55.1% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
