2010 Signatory Vintage The Un-Chillfiltered Collection Glen Spey 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Glen Spey is very rarely seen as single and so ranks as one of the most 'obscure' distilleries in Scotland. This, despite the fact that it resides in the heart of Speyside. It's explained by a relatively modest production capacity. What's more, Glen Spey was always intended as a grain filler, initially created to conform to the ‘J&B’ template of lightness of character.

An 'official' 12 year old was released in 2001 as part of the ‘Flora & Fauna’ range, followed by a 21 year old in 2010. Otherwise the distillery is marketed by independents. The style is light, slightly oily and nutty. 46% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
