2010 L'Ameillaud Cairanne

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. The nose displays ripe berry aromas of black cherries and black plums intermixed with some sour cherries and liquorice followed by notes of new leather. Full bodied with a robust chewy mouthfeel and good richness the palate features flavours of liquorice and black cherries overlaying leather, dried meats and blackpepper. Dry finish with firm tannins. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, leather and blackpepper.
