An elegant, pure and notably ripe nose offers up notes of spice, rose petals and cassis before introducing the seductively rich and opulent medium weight plus flavors that are blessed with an abundance of tannin-buffering dry extract. The very firm supporting structure is presently buried but the firmness of the finish and backend austerity underscore with clarity that this will require plenty of cellar time.
