Up until a recent brand 're-launch' by Diageo, Mortlach has been another classic malt almost entirely scheduled for blends. Nicknamed “The Beast of Dufftown”, its character is due to its special distillation process resulting in a spirit which has been distilled 2.81 times. Mortlach’s exceptional flavour bridges the gap between mellow and smoky. In this case, expect lots of vanilla, stewed fruits and spices. 46% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
