2009 Domaine Mongeard Mugneret Clos De Vougeot Grand Cru

Deep crimson mauve colour, slightly cloudy, with mauve crimson hue. The nose displays a perfumed aromatic profile with sour cherry and violets as top notes followed by some strawberry, light cedar, spice and a faint hint of stalk as an end note. Excellent power wave with flavours of dark and sour cherry followed by some spice, cedar and meaty earth like characters. Dryish finish with fine grained well integrated tannins. Super length. Long aftertaste of sour cherry, spice and meaty earth like characters.
